NEW AMBULATORY CARE CENTER, UCHICAGO MEDICINE
A Welcoming Environment
The University of Chicago Medicine completed a $29 million project to consolidate two Streeterville clinics into a larger, ambulatory services facility. Working with Perkins&Will Branded Environments and Turner Construction Company, Bluewater Studio was UChicago’s partner of choice to execute, produce and install this innovative space that invites patients, staff, and the public to pause and interact with UChicago Medicine.
Bluewater Studio’s work is found throughout this new facility and includes a 37’ tall branded 3form feature wall with high-resolution graphic interlayers, several smaller feature walls, a beautifully designed suspended architectural element assembled with approximately 400 translucent colored acrylic squares with vertical layers, and 3 LED 3form seating nooks with high-resolution graphic interlayers.
