RETAIL EXPERIENCES

Retail Digital Signage Services

Control brand and message at scale in real time.

Digital Signage has been traditionally used for targeted advertising in retail stores. The conversation almost always starts with which hardware or software should be deployed. Interestingly enough, neither of those is a key selling point for digital signage.

Most digital signage players are capable of exactly the same thing: create, schedule, and playback content. Before you go jumping into an investment in Digital Signage, it’s critical to first make sure you have a sound content strategy. What is the desired outcome from deploying digital signage, do you know how to use digital signage, and do you have the appropriate plan, team, and support to keep content updated and relevant?

From there it’s important to understand the future of digital signage. Rather than just leveraging it to deploy targeted (one-way) messaging, you can use it to deploy and update interactive elements to provide an immersive user experience. Further pushing the boundaries, integrators can be used to control dynamic format displays, a video wall, store lighting, and lighting elements used within fixtures – all from one central location.

Our approach

The heart of every digital signage program is its content strategy. Interestingly enough this is often overlooked, or not fully developed until well after the digital signage installation is complete. The content strategy influences everything – which media players are required, menu boards you should use, type of display surface to use, connectivity, even which digital signage software makes the most sense based on who the operators will be. When choosing our signage solutions, we always encourage our clients to start with the content first. What will your content creation process look like, what needs to be messaged, who will be responsible for updating that messaging to keep it fresh, and how do we measure success? Without answering this your signage program is prepped to fail before it begins. We make sure digital signage deployment provides the best customer experience.

During our alignment phase, we help bring stakeholders together to fully realize a content strategy. This allows everyone to feel that they have properly planned for a successful deployment. This is also where network analysis is done to determine security requirements, and ensure the playback devices can communicate with the server. With this information locked in, the right system can be designed to support the desired communication needs, training can be delivered for system operators, content teams can begin working on designs, and all of the hardware can be installed in the field.
