Bluewater was thrilled to be back in Detroit this week to provide audio visual support for Rocket Mortgage Classic Media Day. Our live events team constructed a 15’ x 36’ LED wall which displayed the Rocket Mortgage Classic Media day logo, as well as a loop of PGA Tour Players included in this year’s event. This large LED screen will also be used during tournament week which starts in late July.
Bluewater also provided the audio equipment for the 1899 Club Hospitality Area that hosted local media for the press conference including Mike Tirico (sports commentator legend and Michigan native) as well as the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic Champion Cam Davis. Our audio set-up also included PA over the 15th tee box, where Cam Davis, and local news anchors Jeanna Trotman and Jennifer Hammond hit shots into the 15th Green to raise money for the Connect 313 Fund, which is trying to bridge the “Digital Divide” in Metro Detroit.
