Bluewater Studio recently partnered with the Cranbrook Art Museum to create an artist-designed mini-golf course. “Cranbrook on the Green” is a unique visitor experience for guests of all ages to enjoy this summer.

“Art museums across the country have started to roll out miniature golf courses with art ties as a way to attract and interact with patrons in new ways,” writes Maureen Feighan for The Detroit News.

Working closely with museum staff and the design firm A Couple of Putts, the Bluewater Studio team fabricated and installed ten custom-designed holes, each inspired by the rich legacy of art and design at Cranbrook.

Each hole is “made out of the strongest waterproof, outdoor materials,” said Lyla Catellier, Cranbrook Art Museum’s Curator of Public Programs. “These are built to last.”
