From game day to everyday operations, technology plays an important role in creating modern athletic environments.
Bluewater has worked with Michigan State University to integrate technology across several of its athletic facilities. Each space has its own purpose, audience, and technical requirements. As a result, every project requires a solution designed around how that specific environment is used.
Recent work spans Spartan Stadium, Munn Ice Arena, and the Tom Izzo Football Building, supporting spaces used by athletes, staff, students, alumni, donors, and Spartan fans.
Supporting Technology Across MSU Athletics
Michigan State University’s athletic facilities serve many different purposes. Some welcome thousands of fans on game day, while others support smaller gatherings, meetings, hospitality, and day-to-day operations.
That variety makes thoughtful technology integration especially important.
Bluewater works with Michigan State University to create systems that complement each environment while remaining easy to use and reliable for the people who depend on them.
Rather than approaching every facility the same way, our team considers how technology can best support the experience within each individual space.
Integrated Displays at Spartan Stadium
At Spartan Stadium, Bluewater recently supported technology integration within the MSUFCU Club.
Integrated displays help bring digital content into the space while maintaining a clean, cohesive environment. The technology supports the club’s role as a premium gathering and hospitality space within one of Michigan State University’s most recognizable athletic facilities.
The result is technology that feels like a natural part of the environment rather than an addition to it.

At Munn Ice Arena, Bluewater’s recent work included new audio technology as well as illuminated historical displays.
