To celebrate Disney’s 100th Anniversary, Nordstrom’s New York City flagship store was transformed into a captivating, interactive experience. From November 8, 2023, to January 19, 2024, visitors were immersed in Disney magic through a series of bespoke installations. In partnership with Disney and Nordstrom, Bluewater brought this vision to life—blending storytelling and technology to showcase our expertise in creating unforgettable, experiential retail moments.

Key Installations: Interactive Magic
5-Segment LED Wall: A captivating, multi-segment LED wall with interactive elements inspired by Disney princesses. Each segment offers a different magical experience:
- Tiana Harp: Visitors waved their hands, triggering the harp to play enchanting music.
- Moana Video Reveal: A hidden Moana video revealed when guests interacted with the screen.
- Cinderella Video Reveal: A similar experience featuring a curated Cinderella video.
- Elsa Video Reveal: Visitors uncovered a mesmerizing Elsa video with a simple hand wave.
- Ariel Harp: A final interactive harp segment, where hand waves triggered the harp to play.

Coloring Books (Touchscreen)
A highlight of the experience was the Interactive Touchscreen Coloring Books—two digital kiosks where visitors could color classic Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy. Branded with Disney and Nordstrom logos, the kiosks reinforced the collaboration while engaging guests of all ages. The intuitive interface and vibrant displays invited creativity and play, making it a favorite among families. This playful feature blended creativity and technology, adding to the magic and overall success of the installation.
