Celebrating the Spirit of the NYC Marathon with Citizens

Bluewater was tapped by Miller Zell to bring their vision to life for activating Citizens’ sponsorship of the NYC Marathon. The goal was to create an immersive experience that would not only captivate attendees but also allow them to explore the iconic NYC Marathon course right from the heart of the Expo.

The exhibit invited attendees to embark on a journey through the diverse neighborhoods and boroughs that define the NYC Marathon route. From the starting point in Staten Island to the final stretch in The Bronx. Attendees could also take interactive selfies with virtual QR codes in each location throughout the exhibit and share their experience seamlessly. This not only enhanced engagement but also turned the exhibit into a memorable, shareable moment for participants.

Bluewater’s touch of creativity fused with technology was evident. From the interactive LED floor and backdrop to the custom lighting. Bluewater took charge of the end-to-end execution, from designing and installing the LED elements to seamlessly coordinating show services and logistics. Bluewater also provided some of the physical elements of the booth, completing the immersive atmosphere. The synergy between our design and logistical expertise ensured that every aspect of the project aligned seamlessly with the client’s vision. This project was a huge success, winning an Addy Award for Brand Activation. Our team was proud to help bring the marathon course to life, providing a unique and engaging experience.
