Aurora – Winter Wizards at Glenlore Trails
Aurora invites guests into a magical illuminated forest, where the Winter Wizards return to push back the creeping chill threatening the spirit of the season. Visitors journey through glowing pathways and interactive scenes, using their presence and movement to restore the forest’s magic at Glenlore Trails.
✨ Optional magic wands ($20) unlock hidden reveals, awaken secret animations, and allow guests to strengthen the Wizards’ power along the trail. Perfect for families, date nights, or anyone seeking a hands-on winter adventure.

Detroit Zoo Wild Lights
Bluewater enhances this beloved Metro Detroit tradition, Detroit Zoo Wild Lights, with interactive installations, including:
“Stepping Tones” projected snowflakes you can step on to create music
“Field of Light” with 550 LED light tubes synced to holiday melodies
Projection mapping at the Polk Penguin Conservation Center

Santa’s Flight Academy
Bluewater powers Santa’s Flight Academy across multiple premier shopping centers nationwide, including two in Michigan: Great Lakes Crossing (Auburn Hills) and Twelve Oaks Mall (Novi). Guests meet Santa before taking off on an interactive adventure complete with Santa’s 22-foot-tall sleigh. Winter at The Station
This season, a Detroit icon transforms for the second annual Winter at The Station. This year’s celebration builds on a rich legacy while beginning a new chapter as a place for community and the home of possibility. Guests can enjoy the warm glow of festive décor, the inspiring sounds of local artists, and hands-on activations while discovering curated local drinks, food, and gifts.

Santa’s Magic Mailbox
Bluewater helped bring holiday magic to Downtown Detroit with Santa’s Magic Mailbox! In partnership with Bedrock, we enhanced the Hudson’s for the Holidays experience with an interactive mailbox where kids can drop in their letter, crank the handle, and watch a special keepsake note pop out – straight from the North Pole.
