Bluewater Technologies is excited to announce new additions to their growing live events team as demand continues to increase in the live event space. Bluewater has hired two key employees with decades of industry experience:
John Leen, Estimating Director – John brings a plethora of experience to Bluewater and enjoys finding creative solutions to his clients’ visions. He has produced and managed Ford Motor Company and The Lincoln Motor Company’s national and international events for the last eighteen years. Some of these shows include CES, SEMA, NADA, AirVenture, and many other outdoor activations. He has also produced multiple press events and corporate ballroom events over the years. Other work includes investor meetings for JLL and pro-bono work for the Henry Ford Health System.
Rob Gerwatowski, Audio Department Head/Lighting & Rigging Lead – Rob comes to Bluewater with over 20 years of Live Event and System Integration experience. He also has a background in System Design, Procurement and Project Management. Rob has worked on many large-scale projects around the industry with a strong focus on managing partner and customer expectations.
“The live events industry has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past several years, and we’ve been fortunate to have been in a position to make smart investments to prepare ourselves for the resurgence that has already begun,” says Bob Marsh, Chief Revenue Officer for Bluewater. “I’m thrilled about the addition of Rob and John, who largely followed other key hires we’ve made in the last 12 to 18 months. These two further round out our ability to move quickly in this post pandemic world of live events that is very different than what we experienced before.”
