Elevating Fan Engagement Through Interactive Sponsor Activations

The NCAA Final Four Fan Fest brought together fans, brands, and unforgettable experiences under one roof. Bluewater played a pivotal role in elevating the event by partnering with TNT Sports to support four major sponsor activations—Capital One, TurboTax, Great Clips, and Dove—managing multiple branded booths with AV, interactive gameplay, and onsite support.

While Bluewater was onsite for only one event, the team successfully deployed and managed multiple activations simultaneously, demonstrating operational efficiency and deep expertise in large-scale event production.

Capital One Activation

Capital One’s booth featured LED pillars and light tubes that transformed the space into a dynamic sports zone. Fans could engage in three interactive sports—soccer, football, and lacrosse.

  • In soccer and football, attendees scored points by throwing or kicking balls through lighted rings.

  • The lacrosse challenge tracked throwing speed, adding a competitive edge with a real-time leaderboard.

Bluewater provided the LED displays and supported technical gameplay infrastructure to ensure a seamless, high-energy experience.

Great Clips Activation

For the second year in a row, Bluewater supported the Great Clips booth by bringing efficiency and innovation to their fan fest experience.

  • A custom registration system allowed guests to choose their service and view estimated wait times.

  • Waitlist updates, branding, and uploaded fan photos were dynamically displayed on a large LED cube.

Bluewater created both the registration platform and content management system, ensuring every element of the activation aligned with the Great Clips brand.

TurboTax Activation

TurboTax’s booth brought basketball and tech together with a fast-paced red-light green-light game.

  • The activation featured three LED pillars, each with a basketball hoop.

  • Players had 30 seconds to score by hitting green-lit hoops to earn points—red-lit shots deducted points.

Bluewater handled gameplay development, LED integration, and audio solutions, ensuring the activation was both immersive and intuitive.

Dove Activation

Dove’s combine-themed booth challenged fans with physical competitions including a vertical jump, long jump, spot shots, and more.

  • Instead of manually tracking scores, this year’s booth used tablets to record performance data in real time.

  • Each mini-game had its own leaderboard, all displayed on a central LED wall hanging above the booth.

Bluewater developed the custom web-based leaderboard system and supplied the LED display hardware, giving the booth a polished, professional upgrade.

With seamless coordination and deep technical capabilities, Bluewater ensured that each brand activation at the NCAA Final Four Fan Fest stood out. From LED integration and gameplay development to live content management and system design, Bluewater delivered engaging, tech-forward fan experiences for some of the biggest names in the industry.
