A Government Visitor Center
Purpose, Passion, and Pride
As part of a larger design-build construction project by BL Harbert International, Bluewater Studio was selected to fabricate and install exhibits for a government visitor center in Virginia – elegantly designed by Page/Dyal Branding & Graphics of Austin, Texas.
A partnership with Bluewater Studio was initiated early in the design phase of the project to support the design and client teams with scheduling, execution strategies, build methods, best material choices, technology consultation, budgeting, fabrication, and installation.
Our work includes a custom handcrafted sculptural element with adjacent seating and internal lighting and a variety of richly designed dimensional and custom super-graphics. An expansive built-in history wall presents multiple stories supported by a collection of custom-mounted artifacts. Our work also includes a custom programmed video wall and a few interactive components.
The result is a very impressive story-telling space.
