Bluewater Technologies is excited to announce the addition of a seasoned leader to its Live Events team: Andy Makins has joined the company as Senior Director of Client Services. With more than 25 years of experience across advertising, marketing, sales, and account management, Makins brings a powerful combination of strategic insight and operational excellence to the forefront.
Makins brings extensive experience, having held pivotal roles at Beasley Media Group, WJBK-TV (Fox 2 Detroit), Quantcast, Crain Communications, and Digitas/Publicis Groupe. His career is defined by building high-performing teams and delivering results across broadcast, digital, and experiential platforms.
A native of the Detroit area, Makins attended Madonna University and earned his degree from Michigan State University. Beyond his professional achievements, he’s deeply involved in the local community—currently serving as president of the board of directors at Plum Hallow Country Club in Southfield.
A Leadership Role with Impact
In his new role, Makins will oversee client relationship strategy for Bluewater’s Live Events division, driving growth, business development, and the strategic execution of experiential programs that deliver measurable results for premier brands.
