When entrepreneur Andy Appleby launched the United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL), he knew that creating a memorable fan experience at Jimmy John’s Field would be just as important as the action on the diamond.
To compete with major league venues, the new stadium needed a high-impact audiovisual environment that could deliver big-league excitement—on a minor league budget. The challenge was designing and integrating a complete AV system that could support live entertainment, in-game engagement, and real-time updates, all while enhancing the overall atmosphere.
Bluewater stepped up to design and implement a full suite of AV technologies that elevated the fan experience. Key features included an outdoor roadside LED marquee to attract fans, a vibrant LED scoreboard, stadium-wide professional audio reinforcement, and a real-time graphics generator to keep fans in the game. Every element was tailored to enhance the excitement of live baseball from every seat in the house.
Jimmy John’s Field quickly became a standout venue—offering fans an immersive and entertaining environment that rivaled much larger stadiums. The tech-forward experience helped establish USPBL as a serious player in independent baseball and delivered on the vision of making every game feel like a major event.
