OUR APPROACH

We apply the same rigor to each project to deliver consistency in experience & results.

Our method is straightforward: align, design, execute, and support. We follow this same approach for every project so we deliver a consistent engagement experience across projects. This approach also provides clear and expected results for our partners. Explore this approach in action below.

01. Alignment

Focusing on the "what if"

At the heart of what we offer is a desire to create new things — to solve for the challenges presented to us. We regularly ask “what if?” What if we tried looking at content strategy first, then apply creative? What if we forced ourselves to find new ways to drive cost out, instead of just reaching for what’s comfortable? What if we built a guitar that was shaped like our icon as a way to introduce ourselves to new audiences? It’s strategic curiosity.

We always start with alignment, our process for understanding. What’s the intended objective? How do we define and measure success? How do we connect to the brand essence? Are there things we should avoid? We’re looking to land on a fundamental direction. For this program our objective was simple: reach new audiences so we can share our story, and share our story using the same services we offer our clients.

02. Design

Aesthetically pleasing, functionally sound.

We’re a particular bunch — maybe a little “OCD.” Especially in regard to the quality of our work. Much of that begins with design, which for us is both aesthetic and functional. Things need to look great, and work even better. Design goes beyond visuals for us. It’s the key to our strategy, engineering, and execution.

Over our 30 years in tech we’ve discovered that many of the challenges that are experienced with technical programs come from poor planning during the design phase. We pay special attention to how things are intended to function, as much as we do how they will ultimately look. As it’s said, “You get out what you put in.”

03. Execution

Go time

Bringing ideas to life is a commitment. Especially when you want the end product to be fully functional, long-lasting, and hit on every desired KPI. In the case of these guitars, we went through four physical iterations before we were satisfied with the  build quality. In each revision, we made updates to the details that drastically improved the overall fit and finish.

All of the work was done in our facilities by our talented team of designers, engineers, and skilled trades. From pencil sketches to illustrations, CAD to the router, paint to assembly. The hardware selection, sourcing, and assembly. Turns out we even have a luthier on staff, which made the final set up of these guitars a breeze. This is how we approach all of our projects — we’ve built a vertically integrated platform that allows us to mind the details.

04. Support & Measurement

In it for the long haul

Being a partner means we’re in it for the long haul. We create experiences, support them through the duration of the program, and analyze the details along the way. We’re only successful if you are, which means the programs we roll out need to meet the intended business objectives outlined during alignment. Our support team stays on long after the program is delivered to ensure that these objectives can be met.

We view the Kaiyacaster as a functional piece of art. Whether you decide to play it, or just hang on the wall, we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed building it! Feeling inspired yet? We can’t wait to see what concepts we can bring to life together!
