Let’s be real—when you walk into a stadium or arena, you feel it. The sound. The lights. The energy. That electric atmosphere that gets your heart racing before the main event even starts. And while the crowd and content play their part, the real magic is in the AV system—the screens that light up the sky, the sound that shakes your chest, and the seamless flow of content that turns a venue into an experience.

That level of immersion doesn’t happen by accident. It takes serious planning, smart design, and massive AV integration—executed with precision. From massive LED walls and zoned audio systems to dynamic lighting and real-time control, today’s venues are powered by technology that does way more than “just work”—it moves people.

Read on and see how to take those spaces from big to unforgettable!

Indianapolis Motor Speedway – New Tech Meets Racing History

Indianapolis Motor Speedway

The IMS is one of those places where tradition runs deep. So when they needed an AV upgrade, it had to be modern without messing with the magic.

This legendary track received a high-tech refresh with:

  • A massive 92-foot LED scoring pylon to keep fans in the loop lap after lap
  • A crisp new LED ribbon display on the Pagoda (no more bulbs!)
  • Giant LED walls around the venue—including a massive board at Pagoda Plaza and dozens of screens throughout the paddock

Now fans can see the action and stats from anywhere, and the whole space feels more alive.

CFG Bank Arena – Total AV Glow-Up

CFG Bank Arena

A full-on transformation, CFG Bank Arena wanted an audio-visual system that could handle concerts, games, shows—you name it. Bluewater implemented a content-driven lighting system on the building’s exterior using Color Kinetic lights.

  • An upgraded line-array sound system that sounds incredible from any seat
  • Over 150 digital displays for menus, event content, and wayfinding
  • Smart, colorful LED lighting that reacts to what’s happening on stage or on the court
  • A fully integrated control room that ties it all together behind the scenes

The result? A space that’s bold, flexible, and seriously fun to be in. Oh—and it won a 2024 Commercial Integrator Award!

Where Digital Meets Natural Wonder – Changi Airport

Changi Airport’s Terminal 2

Step into the Singapore lobby of Changi Airport at Terminal 2 and you’re instantly transported. Towering above guests is a stunning digital waterfall—an LED marvel that blurs the line between architecture and immersive art.

  • A towering LED installation that mimics the flow and movement of real cascading water
  • Instantly transforms the space into an artistic, high-impact welcome moment
  • Blends structural design with dynamic content to create a seamless visual environment
  • Turns a common area into a memorable destination through immersive tech

This larger-than-life installation creates a powerful first impression, surrounding visitors with the tranquil illusion of cascading water while showcasing how modern AV technology can transform a space into an experience. It’s not just a display—it’s a destination.
