Davenport University, a long time client of Bluewater, is serious about staying on the cutting edge of technology. From bringing the latest collaboration tools to their students to updating their meeting spaces, they rely on Bluewater to deliver the best in modern technology to drive collaboration and connectivity. Their most recent project was to update their executive board room. As we continue moving forward into a more hybrid era, Davenport University recognized the need for a hybrid meeting space which would allow both in-person and remote participants to collaborate on an equal playing field.
Eager to fulfill Davenport’s vision, the Bluewater team got to work. The board room was upgraded with a new camera and audio system including 18 microphones and 3 new cameras with speaker tracking capabilities. Speaker tracking enables the cameras to identify the person who is currently speaking in the room and focus on them during the meeting. This new technology allows all participants to see and hear whoever is speaking whether they are sitting on the other side of the room or joining the meeting virtually.
